This 1960s G-plan M6 and M4 modular table and seating set was designed to 'fit together effortlessly - no nuts and bolts are needed'. Designed to be flexible, with more than '200 permutations' such as reversible table tops in polished black lacquer or tola (african mahogany) and cushions that could be added to transform tables into seats. The range featured square framed and ebonised bases with polished brass feet and numerous interchangeable units - coffee table tops, drawer units, bookcases, drinks cabinet and, as seen in this instance, two fully upholstered chairs and a single cushion with two reversible coffee table tops.

This is rare opportunity to buy a fabulous low and long corner unit bench ensemble.

This stunning set can be placed as one set together or set apart in separate areas of the home. As the seat backs are reupholstered, it can sit away from a wall and be used to zone an interior space.

The upholstery is in "Rita does Jazz " luxury velvet fabric from The Monkey Puzzle Tree and designed by Yorkshire designer, Sarah Thornton. The design is inspired by the artist's mother, Rita, who loved nothing better at the weekend than letting her hair down at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. The Monkey Puzzle Tree create British designed and produced, luxury textiles. They have recently been awarded an illustrious Design Guild Mark for their other stunning wallcovering creation 'Hit the North', by Drew Millward.

This is the only example of this combination of units we have come across and is in showroom condition. An exceptionally rare piece fully restored in a perfect blend of contemporary and vintage- You will not find another example for sale. A stand-out, statement piece like no other.
