A perfect buy for any lover of well designed, British Mid Century Modern furniture. For collectors of Sylvia and John Reid design, this is a rare to the market find.

Some slight discoloration of sheepskin on the sides, the cover has had some repairs to the underside which cannot be seen. One small area of wool loss on one side which is barely noticeable. Has been professionally cleaned and refurbished.
John and Sylvia Reid were employed by Stag Furniture from 1952 and this delightful dressing table stool was part of their pioneering Stag C range of bedroom furniture. What is especially interesting about this stool is that the sheepskin covers, and C Range overall, varied vastly from other mid century British designs of the time and appear to have been largely influenced by emerging European designers of that period.
