G-Plan Form Five Wall Unit / Room Divider / Bookcase, 1960s
This gorgeous, functional piece is from the G-Plan Form Five range designed by R. Bennett in the 60s/70s, restyled with the addition of tapered legs.
R. Bennett designed for G-Plan from the late 60's until 1970 and is credited with the design of the "Quadrille" and "Form Five" range of furniture. The Form Five range is one of our favourites, keeping to the principles of form and function with clean lines and up to five shelves (two adjustable and removable) to display books/homeware and store items away from view in the upper cabinet.
As a room divider, the open shelves along with the veneered sections offer the balance of space division without blocking light through. Trailing plants look wonderful on this piece too.
This product comes in two variations
1. Wall standing wall unit/bookcase with plywood back - £285
2. Wall unit / room divider with teak veneered backs (show back on last three images) - £345
A perfect alcove piece or as the room divider option to add some zoning to your interior space.
