Details: The Bumling twin floor lamp in brass is an iconic lighting design of the 1960/70s. The Bumling range was first launched in 1968 and some models continue in production to this day. The designer, Anders Pehrson, had been Design Manager at Philips before taking over the creative lead and ownership at Ateljé Lyktan in 1964. His pioneering designs led the company into further international success, Bumling being one of the most sought after for home interior use, and are featured in the Swedish National Museum.
The Bumling lamp is truly original in form and design and the stand is accentuated by the elegant coiled base and goosenecks. This twin floor lamp is rare in today's marketplace and is a special find for any interior lover and, or collector.
